Mary Jane "Jean" Carleton, 85, of Moncton, NB; passed away at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home, on Friday, November 16, 2012. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Laura Gould LeBlanc. Mary Jane, lived her whole 85 years in Moncton, New Brunswick, she wasn’t much for travel but would make the occasional trip to visit family, which always came first. Some of Jeans favorite pass times included playing Bingo, any card game, even if it was just solitaire. She loved gospel and country/folk music and always had music on in the house. Another passion of hers, was cooking. She enjoyed cooking for her family and preparing a big meal that all would enjoy, and seeing those empty plates would bring a smile to her face. She was a member of the Salvation Army Home League and the Highfield Street Baptist Church, the WMS and she looked after the Nursery - Toddlers and the Gapa Class. She will be fondly remembered by her family for her generous nature and her willingness to help and provide for others. Those of you that know, Jean, know her faith in God and her service to the church meant the world to her. She truly was one of God’s angels here on earth and we all can be certain she is in heaven with Him, watching over us all.
