Obituary of Nina J. Horsman

Nina Horsman, 89, formerly of O'Neil's (Indian Mountain, NB), passes away peacefully at the Drew Nursing Home in Sackville, on Tuesday morning January 1, 2013. Born in O'Neil's, NB., on May 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Dora Horsman. Nina worked many hours on the Family Dairy Farm, she enjoyed feeding the animals, separating cream and making hay. She will be best remembered for her love and care given to her parents, her cookies and hugs, also for the way she interacted with her siblings children and all the kids of the farming community. "Nina Loved Kids" "Kids Loved Nina" A loving and kind sister, aunt and friend she will be sadly missed by her two sisters Bertha Demmings (the late Sydney) of Spencer Nursing Home and Phyllis Bulmer (Howard) of Irishtown; her brother Albert Horsman of O'Neil's; also by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister Audrey Gillcash (the late Melvin) in 2001; a brother Christopher Horsman in 1938 and a baby brother Harrison. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 12:30pm until the time of the funeral service. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz Street on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Chet MacPhail officiating. Interment will be in Horsman Cemetery, Lutes Mountain, NB in the spring. Donations in Nina's memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation, IWK Grace Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family. The Family would like to extend a very special thank you to the nurses and staff of Drew Nursing Home, a special thanks to Debbie Acker.
