Obituary of Jean Harper Sare

Jean Harper Sare, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at the age of 87 years. Born in Campbellton, NB, She was the daughter of the late James and Jemina (Harper) Adams. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Campbellton. Jean was active in the church, as a member of the choir, a Sunday school teacher, the church secretary and organizer of the Vacation Bible Schools. She was also very active in various womens groups of the church . She and her husband Elroy moved to Riverview in 1986. Jean is survived by her husband Elroy Sare, of Riverview; sons Douglas Sare of Sussex, James Sare of St. John's, NF and Robert Sare of Riverview; Grandchildren Stephen Sare of Fredericton and Kimberly (Robert) Newman of Cambridge, On. Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her brothers Ernest Adams and Blair Adams. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Friday February 17, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday February 18, 2006 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Charles Cook officiating with Rev. Murray Graham giving the eulogy. Interment will be in Campbellton Rural Cemetery in the spring. Donations made to Canadian Cancer Society or to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
