Obituary of Joy Doris Tulk

Joy D. Tulk, of Riverview, passed away of a sudden illness at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the age of 53 years. Born in Moncton she is the daughter of Doris (Burgess) Eagles and the late Russell O.B. Eagles. In earlier years Joy was a legal secretary for various companies, since moving to Riverview she has been a private caregiver. She will always be remembered for her loving, kind and compassionate ways. She will be sadly missed by her mother, Doris Eagles of Riverview; her sisters Phyllis Dodds of Mississauga, ON, Bonnie (Randy) Stevens of Truro, Anne Wood of Riverview, Mary McKinnon (Kevin) of Upper Coverdale, Susan (originally of Moncton) and Sandra (Darren) Quann of Fawcett Hill; brother Allison (Eileen) Eagles of Moncton; her life partner Eugene George of Riverview; also by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Besides her father she was predeceased by her husband Keith Tulk in 1998 and by her son Stuart Keith Tulk in 2001. Visitation will be at held at The Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road on Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 2, 2007 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Interment will be in Wheaton Settlement Cemetery. Donations in Joy's memory made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to ALS Society would be appreciated by her family.
