Obituary of John E. Hanlon
John E. Hanlon, 81, of Turtle Creek, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, July 20, 2007. Born in Moncton, March 5, 1926, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Elizabeth P. (Dryden) Hanlon. John worked for Petro Canada Magnetic Hill until his retirement. He was a strong supporter of the Canadian Red Cross, he donated blood over one hundred times.
He is survived by his daughters Deborah Mott, Susan Hanlon and Barbara; five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; Marion Spicer his friend for forty-five years; his brothers Donald and William Hanlon (Shirley); one sister Lillian Rose (Lloyd); also by many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Dorothy M Steeves by a sister Doris Crandall and a sister-in-law Alberta Hanlon.
At John's request there will be no visitation or service, cremation has taken place.Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 2:00pm.
