Obituary of Jean Shirley MacKenzie

Jean Shirley MacKenzie, of Lakeville, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, May 22, 2009 at the age of 71 years. Born October 13, 1937 in Campbellton, NB; she was the daughter of the late William and Irene MacKenzie. Jean was a Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Zetland Chapter # 26, Shediac, NB. She was also a member of the Sackville Lions Club and a member of Lakeville United Church. She is survived by three sisters Betty MacLeod, Joyce Steeves (Gerald) of Moncton, Margaret Bird of Lakeville; one brother William (Barb) MacKenzie of Dartmouth NS; as well as nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by one brother Donald MacKenzie. By request there is no visitation at the Funeral Home as cremation has taken place. OES, Zetland Chapter # 26 will hold a Eastern Star Service at the funeral home on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 1:30 PM. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, Lutz St. Moncton on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 2 :00 pm with Rev. James Hammond officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Memorial of the donor's choice in Jean's memory. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
