Obituary of Jane Carruthers

Jane T. Carruthers, 84 years, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Monday, February 17, 2014. Born in St. Anthony, NL she was the daughter of the late Hubert Allen and Lavina (Pike) Burt. Jane retired from Blue Cross working in the Extended Health Care Benefits Dept. She is survived by her sons Darrell James (Cheryl) of River Phillip, NS., Daniel Allen (Donna) of Brampton, Ont.; sister Violet Boone of Happy Valley, Goose Bay, NL.; sister in law Mary Jane Burt of St. Anthony, NL; two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Daniel in 2012; sister Ruby Blaikie; brother William Burt; brothers in law Lloyd Boone and Harry Blaikie. Private family interment service will be in St. James Presbyterian Cemetery, Beersville, NB in the spring. Donations in Jane's memory made to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
