Obituary of Nellie Stella Wallace

Nellie Stella Wallace, 96, of Moncton completed her Earth's Journey, a life well and fully lived, being surrounded by her family on January 13, 2015 in the care at Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital where she received warm and compassionate care. As we gathered around Mom, she lovingly and sincerely expressed that she was leaving us to join Dad. Nellie was born to the late Charles and Robina (Finn) MacDonald, April 4, 1918 in Sunny Brae, NB. Nellie devoted her life to family and friends. But being a Mother is where she excelled, she would see us stumble but would never allow us to fall in any of our life endeavours. She was our Mom, but more importantly our Best Friend. In later years she enjoyed watching Curling, playing Scrabble, TV Bingo, and of course, Politics’ remaining knowledgeable to the end on all current issues. She will be sadly missed and forever Loved and Remembered by her children Harry Jr. (Laverna), Bob (Sandra) and Brenda (the late Patrick Fitzgerald); brother Charles "Roy" MacDonald; grandchildren Tricia, Meghan, Kim, Krista, Jeff, Gillian, Ryan; as well as great grandchildren Adam, Nick, Tristan, Bailey, Kaleb, Kade and Jerzey. Two people who were special to Mom were Pat Savard and Donna Adams, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her son in law, Nellie was predeceased by her husband Harry Wallace Sr. 1995; three sisters Margaret, Eleanor, Ruby, and by her brother Walter. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB on Thursday, January 15, 2015 with visitation from 7 to 9pm. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Memorial Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm. with Pastor David Way officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Nellie's memory made to the Dr. Georges L.
