Obituary of Ida Mae Robertson

Ida Mae Robertson, of Dover, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at the age of 82 years. Born in Moncton, NB on July 12, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Hartford and Sarah (Melvin) Mullins. Ida enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, she was an excellent cook, and loved to prepare for family, neighbours and friends. She enriched the lives of her grandchildren from being such a wonderful grandmother. Ida will be remembered by many for being very much a proper lady. Left with fond memories are her daughter Marlene Robertson (Donald Parker) of Memramcook; sons Carl Jr. (Anita) of Dieppe, and Brian of Hamilton ON; sisters Mayme Hannington and Kathleen LeBlanc (Henry) both of Moncton and Eileen Furlong (Wally) of Sackville; brother Lloyd Mullins (Loretta) of Bloomfield; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Carl B. Robertson in 1999; sisters Althea and Vivian; brothers Cecil, John, Wilfred and Ronald. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. on Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Phillip Griffin-Allwood officiating. There will be a reception following the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
