Obituary of Laurie Joseph Goguen

Laurie J. Goguen, 68, of Moncton, was called home to be with his Lord on Friday, October 22, 1010. Born in Moncton, NB; on September 30, 1942, he was the son of Florence (Boudreau) and the late Raymond Goguen. Laurie was a retired Stationary Engineer. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. A loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend he will be deeply missed by his loving wife Norma; daughters Betty Bevans (Roger) of Riverview and Carthel "Lynn" Thevene (Darcy) of Labrador, NL; son Pastor Larry Goguen (Lisa) of Marysville, NB; three loving grand-daughters Laurie Ann, Laraine and Larissa; mother Florence Mary Goguen of Dieppe; four sisters Jeannette LeBlanc (Norman) of CT. USA; Dora Walton (Gil) of Shediac, Muriel Fournier (Ron) of Moncton and Geraldine LeBlanc (Jean) of Dieppe; as well as several nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his father Raymond Goguen. The memorial service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 2:00pm with Pastor Jason Cochran officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Donations in Laurie's memory made to the Grace Baptist Church Memorial Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
