Obituary of John Stewart Cannell

The death of John Stewart Cannell occurred May 15, 2011, at the Moncton City Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Halifax, he is the son of Marjorie Douthright of Petitcodiac NB and John Cannell of Halifax NS, and Quispamsis NB. Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Angela Falkenham of Halifax; son John Cyril (JC) of Halifax; daughter Catherine Margaret of Windsor Ontario; stepbrother Michael Sharpe of Waverly NS. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. John was predeceased by his brother David; maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 1:30pm with Rev. Michael Cannell of Yarmouth NS. officiating. Donations in John's memory made to the Charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
