Obituary of John J. Cormier

John J. Cormier, 91, of Residence O' Bon Soins, Shediac, NB; and formerly of Moncton, passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital, on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Born in Charlo, NB he was the son of the late Joseph D. and Mary K. Cormier. John worked on the family farm in Charlo until his retirement. He was a former member of Holy Family Parish. John is survived by several nieces and nephews from Moncton, Northern New Brunswick and Ontario. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Azilda LePage, Marie Levesque and Jeannette Cormier with whom he had resided with in Moncton. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 9:00am with Fr. Yvon Cormier officiating. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donation in John's memory made to the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
