Obituary of Kathleen Mary Weaver
Weaver, Kathleen Mary (Toogood), formerly of Gaskin Blvd. Riverview and Shediac Rd. Moncton, passed away peacefully at K.E. Spencer Memorial Home on Thursday, January 5, 2012, after a period of declining health at the age of 91.
She was born in the UK on December 27, 1920 and emigrated with her family to Canada (Taylor Village) in 1928. She was the daughter of Edgar John and Eva May (Case) Toogood.
She was employed at Brown Holders and Marven's prior to her marriage to Alexander Weaver. She was a longtime member of Gunningsville Baptist Church and a former Sunday School Teacher. She was an avid reader and gardener, she enjoyed walking with her close neighborhood friends and talking to her Lord and Saviour.
Kathleen took great pride in her family, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, she will be truly missed by her children Jack (Jane), Tom (Marie), Richard (Earlyne), Joyce Landry (Dan Gray), Michael (Lorna) and Susan Moch (Harry), thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, one sister Irene Petley; one brother George Toogood (Alma); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Alexander Weaver in 1982; two sisters Eva Babington and Dorothy Ward, also by two brothers Reggie (infant) and Harold Toogood.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.At Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. Moncton.
The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz St. Moncton on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 1:00pm with Rev. Jack Allen officiating.
Interment will be at Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
Donations in Kathleen's memory made to K.E. Spencer Memorial Fund or to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by her family.
