Obituary of Shirley M. Courtice

Shirley M. Courtice, passed away peacefully at ProTem Nursing Home, on April 17, 2015 at the age of 92 surrounded by her family. Shirley was born in London, ON. Shirley was the exclusive agent for Chanel, representing them throughout the Atlantic Provinces --for over 20 years. After retirement she enjoyed spending summers at her cottage on the Bluff in Shediac, and winters in Treasure Island FL for many years. She was a member of St. John’s United Church. While in FL she volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She was an avid bridge player. Shirley is survived by her son David Rolland and his wife Kathy of Kingston ON; daughter Shirley-Anne Miller and her husband Peter of Downingtown PA; daughter-in-law Brenda Rolland of Point de Chene; grandchildren Natalie, Trisha, Katie (Patrick) and Matthew; great granddaughter Lillian Alice. Besides her parents Shirley was predeceased by her first husband Gordon Orr Rolland; and husband Arthur Courtice; son Gregory Rolland. Her family wishes to thank an incredible group of women who treated Shirley with love and compassion over the last four years of her life at ProTem Health Services. At Shirley's request interment will be private.
