Obituary of Thelma Annie Arsenault
Loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at age 79 on August 23, 2015 in Truro, surrounded by her family. She was born in Tiverton, NS to the late Edmund and Viola (Clifford) Guier. Thelma worked as an administrator and book keeper for several companies including NDP, the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, General Motors and Ford Motor Company. She stopped working early in life to stay home to raise her daughter Deidre. Later in life she thoroughly enjoyed camping with her husband Roger in Shediac NB to be closer to family and friends. Thelma was a certified master knitter and crocheter and many who knew her would likely have a handmade doily or afghan in their home. Thelma was a lively character who loved to talk, laugh and carry on. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Roger, Truro, NS; daughter, Deidre (Craig) Morgan, Rutland, MA; grandchildren, Jack, Mia and Alexa; sisters, Jean (late Doug) Goddard, Mae (Doug) Stoddard, Eunice (late Sheldon) Mailman, Lyla Anthony and brother Carl (Agnes) Guier.
