Obituary of Stephen "Steve" James Heffer

Stephen "Steve" J. Heffer, 54, of Moncton, NB; and formerly of Ontario, passed away surrounded by his family at The Moncton Hospital, on Friday, December 25, 2015, following a sudden illness. Born in Toronto, ON; he was the son of the late Stanley and Edith Heffer. Steve was employed as an inventory clerk with Western Inventory Services. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf in his youth, however his hobbies now include, relaxing playing computer games and watching HGTV, home improvement shows. A kind and generous man, step-dad, brother, uncle, brother in law and friend, he will be sadly missed by his spouse Joanne Pellerin and her son Paul Lavoie (Kelly) and their children Kallie and Kendra; by his siblings Larry (the late Shirley) of Toronto, Sandra (Allan) of Toronto and Marilyn (Derrick) now residing in Newfoundland; as well as brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Bob. Honoring Steve's wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Moncton Dart Club, 28 Eaton St. Moncton, NB on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 12 noon to 6:00pm Interment will be with his parents in Mississauga, Ontario.
