Obituary of Shirley Anne "Nanny" Dobson
Shirley Anne Dobson "Nanny", of Riverview, NB; passed away after a brief illness at The Moncton Hospital, on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Born in Chartersville, NB she was the daughter of the late Roy John Busby and Ida Mae "Dolly" (Charters) Oulton. Shirley was a "die-hard" Moncton Wild Cats fan. "Go Cats Go" She is survived by her daughter Cindy Henshaw with whom she resided and Angela LeBlanc (Duane) both of Riverview; daughter in law Ruth Dobson of Stilesville, ON; sons Michael (Shelley) Dobson of Moncton, David Dobson and Glen Dobson both of Riverview; sisters Helen (Late Henry) Arsenault of Moncton, Jean (Raymond) MacPherson of Little River, NB, and Donna (Late Roger) Melanson of Moncton; brothers Douglas (late Shirley) Oulton of Curtice, ON, Robert (Edna "Tootie") Oulton of Dieppe, and Howard (Rita) Oulton of Pine Glen; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Ralph Vimy Dobson in 1974; her son Rocky in 1999; sister Alice and brothers Ronald, Stanley and Edward. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home on Monday January 9, 2017 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm & 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday January 10, 2017 at 1:00pm with Pastor Gary Barr officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Shirley's memory made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
