Obituary of Katherine "Katie" Ann Ermen
Katie was born at the Lasalle Hospital in Montreal on June 4, 1999 and was quickly diagnosed with Wolfe-Hirschhorn Syndrome (4p-). During her life, she has endured numerous complications, procedures and life threatening occurrences that she was able to overcome and with the help of many medical practitioners and family, Katie enjoyed her life and was a joy for so many people who were fortunate to meet her. Katie passed away due to complications on October 14, 2017 at home in Sherwood Park, AB with her family at her side. She will be extremely missed by her mom & dad, Karen (nee Reddy), Rodney and her brother, Sean. Also missing her terribly are her Grandparents Ned & Barb Reddy of Sherwood Park AB, Sam & Donna Ermen of Moncton NB, Aunts & Uncles Ann Marie (Robert), Ed (Heather), Jeff (Sherry) and Ken (Annette) along with her cousins Erika, Amanda, Liam, Logan and Addison.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10.30am on Saturday 21st October 2017 at St. Bernard’s Church on Botsford Street, Moncton NB. At the conclusion of the service,
Katie will be laid to rest at the "Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery" (Cimetiere Notre-Dame du Calvaire) on Amirault Street Dieppe NB. A special thanks to Dr. Rehana Chatur for all of her support during this difficult time.
