Obituary of Louis Joseph Melanson

Louis J. Melanson, 68, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, October 13, 2018 following a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Eugene and Alma (LeBlanc) Melanson. Louis was retired from the Moncton School District. He will be forever remembered by his sister Linda Fairweather (Wallace) of Moncton and his twin sister Louise Caissie (Gerry) of Quebec City; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and sister-in-laws. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers Donald and Euclide. In keeping with his wishes there is no visitation or service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB Donations in Louis memory made to the NB Lung Association or to a charity of donor's choice would be appreciated by his family. The family would like to thank the first responders, Paramedics, Fire Dept. and Codiac RCMP for their compassion and care.
