Obituary of Henriette LeBlanc

Henriette (Ryette) LeBlanc,age 77 years, of Moncton, formerly of Cocagne passed away at The Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital on Monday June 5, 2006. Born in Amsterdam, Holland, she was the eldest daughter of the late Henri and Alberta (Elmendorp) Helsdingen. Ryette came to Canada in 1952. She was the widow of the late Henri LeBlanc, photographer. The couple worked for many years for the Moncton Times & Transcript, covering events and stories in the kent county area. Henri provided the photos, while Ryette wrote accompanying text. One of her main hobbies for many years was landscapeing painting, art shows and crafts. She is survived by sons of a previous marriage: Garry and Alan of Ontario and Robert of BC, one sister Amerens (David) Teffer, one niece and three nephews, all of Holland; five grandchidlren and one great-grandson of Ontario. A memorial service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Thursday June 8, 2006 at 11:00 am with Rev. Albert Snelgrove officiating. Interment will be in St. Pierre Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to NB Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
