Obituary of Harry Norman Donaghy

Harry Donaghy, 87, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Frederick A. and Hattie (Hollett) Donaghy. Harry was a Supervisor of Shipping with General Motors Canada retiring in 1992 with 44 years’ service. He was a longtime member of Central United Church and was a member of the Church Choir for 35 years, he also was a Scout Leader and a faithful volunteer with the Karing Kitchen for 17 years. He was a member of Moncton Probus and a Past Master of Tweedie Lodge 41 F&AM. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years Jessie E. Donaghy, his two daughters Janice Smith (Charlie Flowers) of Fredericton and Karen (Terry) Foreman of Moncton; his son Brian (Joceline) Donaghy of Moncton; his adoring grandchildren Shelly, Christine, Ryan, Amy, Rebecca, Brittany, Meghan and Kate; great grandchildren Logan, Avery, Kayla, Eleanor and Evelyn; by his sister Ester Gregan of Barrie On, as well as nieces. Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant brother Kenneth. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9pm. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ron Maund officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
