Obituary of Margaret Ann 'Peggy' Trainor
We announce with great sadness the death of our mother, Margaret Ann 'Peggy' Trainor, 85, of Moncton, wife of the late Thomas O. Trainor (Kelly's Cross PEI), who passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Sunday Jannuary 15, 2006.
Born in Woodstock, NB; she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret 'Mae' (Gallagher) McGuire.
During her working life, she was employed with CN, Eaton's, St. Pat's Family Center and St. Augustine's Rectory.
She was a member of St. Michael's Parish and was a long time member of the CWL and Irish Society.
Peggy was also an avid bowler and lawn bowler for many years.
She is survived by her children, John Trainor of Bedford, Robert Trainor, Catherine Murphy (Greg), Peter Trainor (Jane) all of Moncton, ten grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Steven, Timothy, Sarah, Jason, Rosanna, Thomas, Luke and Meghan, three great grandchildren, a daughter-in-law Margaret Trainor of Moncton, a brother Frank McGuire (Barbara) of Montreal, a sister Helen Logan of Ottawa; sister-in-law, Kay McGuire and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas O. Trainor, a daughter Joanne, a son Frank and five brothers, Donald, Joseph, Gerald, Robert and Thomas.
Visitation is at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 11:00 AM until of departure to St. Michael's at 1:30 PM.
Parish prayer will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home Wednesday evening at 8:15 PM.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church, Masters Road, Moncton on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 2:00 PM with Father J.B. Maillet officiating.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
Donations in Peggy's memory made to Charity of the Donor's Choice would be appreciated by her family.
