Obituary of Reginald Arthur Melvin

Reginald A. Melvin of Moncton, passed away suddenly at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday March 2, 2006 at the age of 66 years. Born in Indian Mountain, NB on July 10, 1939 he was the son of the late William and Annie (Fairweather) Melvin. He is survived by his daughter Wendy (Keith) Soucoup of Sussex, NB; brother Lorne (Norma) of Upper Coverdale; daughter in law Janice Melvin of Dartmouth; six grandchildren Tara-Lee of Fredericton, Jody, Amy and Travis of Sussex, Kayla-Marie and Bree-Anna of Dartmouth as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Theresa (Surrette) Melvin in 2004; son Brian in 2001; sisters Mabel Horsman, Beulah Steeves, Lois Melvin and Viva Surette; brothers Ralph, Zeke, Arnold, Donald, James, William and Gerald. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. on Monday March 6, 2006 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Tuesday March 7, 2006 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Chet MacPhail officiating. Interment will be in Stilesville Cemetery in the spring.
