Obituary of Laura Margaret Eveleigh

Laura M. Eveleigh, formerly of Foundry Place, Moncton,NB, passed away at The Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Monday August 14, 2006 at the age of 94 years. Born in St. George, NB on October 8, 1911. she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Hamilton) O'Halloran. She and her husband were co-owners of of the Eveleigh Hotel in Evandale, NB from 1946-1975, she was a member of St. Bernards Roman Catholic Church. Left with fond memories are her daughter Mary and her husband Nelson Green of Allison, NB; grandchildren Patrick Green of Saint Paul, NB, and Julia and her husband Frank Reale of Mississauga, ON; great grandchildren Angela, Tarah-Lynn, Veronica, and Kyle; also by nieces Frances Francis of Saint John, NB, and Pauline Sullivan of Windsor, NS. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband S. Arthur Eveleigh in 1987; sisters M. Eulalia O'Halloran, Rev. Sister J.A. O'Halloran; and Mrs. Annie Hennesey. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. on Thursday August 17, 2006, from 7:00 - 9:00pm, and Friday August 18, 2006, from 10:00am until time of departure at 10:45am. The funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church on Friday August 18, 2006, at 11:00 am with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Oak Point Anglican Church Cemetery. In Laura's memory donations may be made to The St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church Building Fund or to The K. E. Spencer Memorial Home.
