Obituary of Harold G. O'Neill

Harold O'Neill, age 96 of Lakeview Manor Riverview and formerly of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, October 11, 2007. Born in Moncton on April 11, 1911, he was the son of the late George P. and Charlotte (James) O'Neill. Harold was a former member of the Moncton City Police Force, retiring with thirty-eight years service. He was also a member of the Wesley Memorial United Church. He is survived by a sister in law Helen Allen of Port Elgin also by several nieces and nephews. Harold was the last member of his immediate family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Jean E. (Wall) O'Neill and by his brother Walter O'Neill. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, Pine Glen Rd. on Friday, October 12, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 10:00 am with Rev. Dr. Phil G. A. Griffins-Allwood officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Donations made to the Memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
