Obituary of Margaret E. Budd

It is with great sadness that we, the family of Margaret E. Donohue Budd, announce her passing at home on Thursday, May 15, 2008. Surrounded by her loving family, she went peacefully to her home with the lord. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Effie Mae (Dowd) Donohue. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Percy and by brother Joseph, sister Florence, brother John, son-in-law Harold Frankland, sister-in-law Josephine and brothers-in-law Laurier Savage and Walter Cassidy. She worked for many years in the shoe department of Eaton's Department Store. She was a member of St. Bernard's Parish, she was a volunteer and a member of the Saint John Ambulance. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family and travelling extensively throughout her life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by daughters Ann Frankland of Barrie, On and Joyce Caterini (Lorenzo) of Halifax, NS; and sons Percy (Linda) of Toronto, ON and Ronald of British Columbia; sisters Helen Donohue, Kathleen Savage and Edith Meredith all of Moncton; as well as many Grandchildren, great grandchildren , nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton on Friday, May 16, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Botsford St. on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10:00 am with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Irishtown, NB Memorial donations made to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Special Thanks to Dr. Peters and the staff of the Moncton Hospital and to Nancy, Sheila and Tara and other staff members of Integrity Home Health Services and to the members of Palliative Extra Mural Care Team, who provided such great care for our Mother; also special thanks to Fr.
