Obituary of William George Perrement
William George Perrement, 87, of Riverview, passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Friday, December 5, 2008. Born in Lethbridge, Alberta, he was the son of the late Herbert and Rosa (Haste) Perrement.
William was retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force and from Canada Post. He served with the RCAF during WW II and also served in the Korean War. He retired from the RCAF with 29 years service.
He was a devoted husband and loving father and grampy and is survived by his wife of 64 years, May Aderine (Mitton); two daughters, Carol (Bryan) Long and Geraldine (David) Campbell; grandchildren, Kimberley (Peter) Prince, Joseph (Kathleen) Diett, Merrilee (Kurt) Shpak, Angela Long, Katherine (Simon) Stenekes, Jennifer Campbell and Melissa Campbell; also by eight great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter Lynn (John) Hooker, brother, Stanley Perrement and a sister Lillian (William) Norris.
William was a truly special man who will never be forgotten.
The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel, Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Charles Cook officiating.
Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens
Donations to the Kidney Foundation in William's memory would be appreciated by his family.
