Obituary of Margaret Mary McLellan

Margaret Mary McLellan, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, December 29, 2008 at the age of 88 years. Born in Prince Edward Island, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Josephine Arsenault. She was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, the Air Force Veterans Club and the Lions Senior Citizens Club. Margaret also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was honored for her many years of service to Meals on Wheels. She will be sadly missed and remembered by her daughters Bea Harper and Charlotte Lewis (Dean) all of Riverview, and her sons Patrick (Muriel) McLellan of Moncton, John (Susan) McLellan of Miramichi, Charlie McLellan, David (Lavel) McLellan and Mark (Florence) McLellan all of Moncton, 18 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Patrick J. McLellan in 1988, daughters Loretta and Carol, sisters Mary and Angelina, Brothers Archie, Fred, and Tony. There is no visitation at the request of the family. A Memorial Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 11:00 am with Father Yvon Arsenault officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery later in the spring. In Margaret's memory, donations made to The Alzheimer's Society or to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by her family .
