Obituary of Joseph Guillaume Laurie LeBlanc

Laurie LeBlanc, formerly of Saint John, NB passed away at The Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home in Moncton on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the age of 78 years. Born in Moncton, NB on November 2, 1930 he was the son of the late Leandre and Huberte (Savoie) LeBlanc. Laurie retired with over 35 years service as chef supervisor at Centra Care in Saint John, NB. He was a faithful member of Assumption Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Saint John. Laurie was a volunteer in the kitchen at the Romero House in Saint John for many years. He is survived by his sister Jeanette and her husband Robert Scott of Harcourt; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Jeanne (Bourque) in 1992; second wife Fern (O'Brien) in 2008; brother Leo Paul "Butch" LeBlanc. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, 171 Lutz St. Moncton on Thursday August 6, 2009 from 10:00am until time of service which will be held at 11:00am with father Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saint John, NB. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home 171 Lutz Street Moncton, NB (506) 857-8564.
