Obituary of Virginia A. Nagle

Virginia A. Nagle, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital following a sudden illness on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the age of 84 years. Born in Somerville, MA. USA, on January 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Edna (O'Leary) Pratt. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Fatima Dr. Riverview and she was also a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Ladies Society. A stay at home mom and the worlds best cook, Virginia also enjoyed oil painting, gardening and knitting. A loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend she will be forever missed by her daughter Cathy Constantine (Colin) of Riverview, her sons Gregory Nagle (Nancy) of Fredericton and Stephen of Moncton; her adoring grandchildren Jennifer, Shannon, Jessica and Abigail, Stephen Jr. and Hope; one sister Sheila MacMillan of BC; one brother David Pratt of Regina, SK; as well as nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Gregory J. Nagle in 1996 and by her brother Lloyd Pratt. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with visitation on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. Parish Prayers and sharing of memories will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday evening at 8:30pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 10:00 am with Fr. Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe, NB at a later date. Donations made in Virginia's memory to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or to the Diabetic Association would be appreciated by her family. The family would like to thank Dr. Walsh and the staff of the Moncton Hospital Emergency Room for the compassion and care given to their Mom.
