Obituary of Norma Gail Sanderson

Norma Gail Sanderson, of Riverview, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the age of 68 years. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Robert "Calvin" and Vera Marguerite (Berry) Sanderson. Norma worked for the T. Eaton Co. for 10 years, then with Transport Canada and Nav Canada where she was project budgeting and reporting officer for 21 years. After her retirement in Feb 2000, she enjoyed spending time at her waterfront cottage on the Shediac River, gardening, reading, Bar-B-Queing and listening to country music was her past time. She certainly enjoyed her retirement. She is survived by her sister Brenda Murphy of Moncton, nephew Greg Murphy (Carla McIntosh) of Riverview and by her cat Mickey; aunts Ruby, Peggy, Joan and Mary Sanderson all of PE; as well as numerous cousins in NB and PE. She was predeceased by by her mother Vera in 1998, brother Robert (Bobby) in 2008, her husband David Tower in 2010 and her father Robert Calvin Sanderson in 2015. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 11:30am until time of departure at 12:40pm for Alderwood Cemetery 1094 Coverdale Rd. Riverview where a graveside service will be held at 1:00pm. Donations in Norma's memory made to the Alderwood Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
