Obituary of George H. Horsman
George H. Horsman, 90, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 6, 2006. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Henry A. and Mary Alice (Leaman) Horsman. George was a former salesman at Sumner Co. He attended First Baptist Church, Queen St. Moncton. A veteran of W.W. II and was a member of the Air Force Vets and a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch # 6.
He is survived by one daughter, Joan and her husband Robert MacDougall of Dartmouth, NS; one son Robert of Whitehorse, four grandchildren, Wayne, Leanne, Kendra and Natalie, eight great grandchildren, and a special nephew Donald McGowan. He was predeceased by his wife Leota M. (Tingley) Horsman in 1999.
At George's request there is no viewing at the Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel Lutz St. Moncton on Friday, March 10, 2006 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Delbert Bannister officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
Donations in George's memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation 'Oncology Dept.' would be appreciated by his family.
