Obituary of Gregory Gordon Rolland

Greg Rolland of Pointe Du Chene, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, February 16, 2007 at the age of 54 years. Born in Moncton, NB on September 22, 1952 he was the son of Shirley Rolland Courtice and the late Gordon Rolland. Greg was the owner operator of Rolland Agency for 28 years working up until his illness within the past year. Rolland Agency is a manufacturer representative for various shoe lines. He was a member of The Moncton Beaver Curling Club; The Moncton Elks 229; The Moncton Press Club; The NB ATV Assoc. and The NB Shoe Travelers Assoc. A loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many, he will be missed by his mother Shirley Rolland Courtice of Moncton; wife Brenda (Babineau) Rolland; daughters Natalie and Trisha Rolland; sister Shirley-Anne Miller (Peter) of Pennsylvania; brother David (Kathy) Rolland of Kingston, ON; step sister Penny (Bob) Clarke of Moncton; mother in law Alice Babineau of Pointe Du Chene; sisters in law Patsy (Jim) Wilson of Kentville, NS and Carol (Richard) Daley of Pointe Du Chene; brother in law Brian (Maureen) Babineau of Moncton; also several nieces and nephews. Besides his father Gordon, he was predeceased by his step father Arthur Courtice (January 2007); father in law Clarence Babineau (2003). At his request a celebration of life will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 from 1:00-4:00 pm. In Greg's memory, donations made to "Renovating The Spirit" campaign for the Oncology Unit at The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
