Obituary of Gladys Wood

Gladys Wood, of Toronto, ON passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Born in England on December 29, 1923 she was the daughter of the late John and Hannah (Parrott) Wood. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews; sister in law Trudy Wood. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two brothers John and Phillip Wood; sister Hilda Brotherton. A graveside committal service will be held at St. Martin's in the Wood Anglican Cemetery on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 10:00am with Rev. Richard McConnell officiating. In Glady's memory, donations made to The Alzheimer's Society or to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
