Obituary of Gladys Anna Mae Baston

Gladys Anna Mae (Herman) Baston, age 88 years of Moncton, passed away after a brief illness at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, October 15, 2009. Born in Moncton on August 8, 1921 to the late Clifford and Laurenna (Berry) Herman; she was a member of the Highfield Baptist Church. Gladys enjoyed knitting, crafts, cooking, but her greatest joy was her family She will be sadly missed by her daughter Pamela Anne Cawdle (Christopher); and son Rick Baston both of Moncton; also by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband of 31 years Bertram Baston; sisters Cathleen Short and Helen Norris; brothers Harold (Tex), Gerald, and Donald. Visitation will take place at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at 1:30pm from the Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Jonathan Steeper officiating. Interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. In memory of Gladys, donation's made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the NB Diabetic Foundation would be greatly appreciated by her family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
