Obituary of Mae Effie Beaumont

Mae E. Beaumont , 88, of Residence du Marais Dieppe passed away Tuesday August 22, 2006 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Lewisville, NB on December 31, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Arzlie (Melanson) Cormier. She was married for 57 years. She was a dedicated loving mother of 12, a member of The Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, and a member of the Lower Coverdale WMS. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Nancy (Bob)Williams of Pickering ON, Sharon (Keith) MacKay of Victoria BC, Brenda (Bill) Carter of Moncton, and Peterie Ruddy of Niagara Falls; eight sons Jerome (Freda) Beaumont of Moncton, Allan (Paula) Beaumont of Riverview, Nelson (Dorothy) Beaumont of Riverview, Gary (Lorraine) of Belleville,ON, Brennan (Cindi) Beaumont of Lower Coverdale, Gregory (Francine) Beaumont of Lower Coverdale, Paul Beaumont of Moncton, and Peter Beaumont of Lower Coverdale; sister Rita Morrel of North Bay, ON; brother Laurier (Claudette) Cormier of Moncton; thirty one grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren; also by nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Clarence Beaumont in 1992; grand daughter Bonnie; two sisters Marjorie Richard, and Nellie Boudreau. Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Saturday August 26, 2006 from 10:00 until time of service at 11:00am with Father Allison Carroll officiating. There will be a reception following the service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Mae's memory, donations may be made to The NB Heart and Stroke Foundation. Mae's family would like to express their gratitude to the caring staff of Residence du Marais and to the Moncton City Hospital who cared for her many times over the last ten years.
