Obituary of Phyllis F. Killam

Phyllis F. Killam, 64, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, July 3, 2008. Born in Moncton, NB; she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary Ellen (Steeves) Savoie. Phyllis was an active volunteer with the East End Boys and Girls Club for 25+ years, she was also a member of the Moncton Dart Club and a former member of Moncton Legion Branch #6. She is survived by her husband of forty years Douglas M. Killam, her sons Dougie Jr. (Laura); and Darren (Rachel) all of Moncton, Danny of Fredericton; grandchildren, Nick, Tia, Breanna, Owen, Ellie, Danielle, Jerrica and Christine; sisters Connie (Bob); Rose, Jean and Debbie all of Moncton; brothers Paul of West Coast and Joe and Ricky of Ontario; brother-in-law Romeo (the late Louise LeBlanc) of Moncton; as well as nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Louise and Jeannette and by her brother Francis. Visitation at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. Moncton on Saturday, July 5, 2008 from 12:30 pm to 1:30pm The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 1:30 pm. with Rev. Carol Mullin officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe. Donations in Phyllis's memory made to N.B. Lung Association or to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
