Obituary of Russell Frank Bannister
It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing on October 13, 2008 of Russell Frank Bannister, son of the late Jean Bourque and the late Russell Bannister.
Russell moved to Montreal P.Q. in 1952 with his mother Jean, where he finished his schooling and then went to work for Reader's Digest, where he retired in the year 2000 after more than 30 years service. Russell moved to Moncton upon his retirement.
Russell leaves behind his aunt Bernadette (Francis Goguen) and his aunt and god-mother Bernice (late James Lee) both of Moncton; as well as numerous cousins and many close friends.
Russell is predeceased by his parents and baby sister Blanche. Russell is the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Russell will be sadly missed by his best friend and cousin Joan Gauvin.
Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00pm
The funeral Service will be held from Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 10:00 am with Rev. Fr. B. Sloan officiating.
Donations in Russell's memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to SIDA/AIDS Moncton would be appreciated.
Interment Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
