Obituary of Rowena Freda Eagles

Rowena Freda Eagles, of Bouctouche, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, July 27, 2009 at the age of 72 years. Born in Moncton, NB on April 15, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Marion (Meredith) Lane. Left with fond memories are her daughters Sandra Fearon (Jean-Maire Poirier) of Grande Digue, Kathryn (Charles) Allain of Moncton; sons Harold (Marie-Reine) Eagles of Bouctouche, Jeffrey (Audette) Eagles of Bouctouche, Gregory (Tina) Eagles of Dieppe and Brian (Valerie) Eagles of Moncton; sisters Jean Wilson, Frances Wilson, and Elizabeth (Ken) Parker; brothers Wesley (Sharon) Lane, Roy (Linda) Lane, Davies (Betty) Lane; sisters in law Debbie Lane and Peggy Lane; fourteen grandchildren Michael, Crystal and Jason Eagles, Wayne, Kelly and Cheryl Fearon, Natalie, Nicole and Rachelle Allain, Joey Eagles, Lisa Eagles, Patricia, Shauna and Wally Eagles; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, also by many special friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Waldon Eagles in 1998; grandson Jonathan Eagles in 2007; brothers Lester and George and half brothers Gordon and Eldon. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. on Tuesday, July, 28, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 11:00 am with Pastor Ed Shaw officiating. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In Rowena's memory, donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Palliative Care Unit, or the Oncology Unit would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
