In 1966, the family made Thunder Bay their home, and Fay after many years away rejoined the workforce as a Claims Adjustor for Prudential Assurance. Then came a move to Maxville, Ontario in 1978, where she and Bill became Home Hardware owners. In retirement, Fay and Bill returned home to New Brunswick in 1989.
