Obituary of Faye Marie Smith
Faye M. Smith,62, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, May 3, 2006.
Born Head of Millstream, NB on April 11, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Adolph J. and Violet (Arsenault) LeBlanc. Faye was manager of Guys Frenchys Moncton for 20 years. She attended St. Paul's United Church, Cleveland Ave. Riverview and was active as a Brownie Leader in Kentville, NS in the mid 70's, She was a member of the Phythian Sisters Saxby Temple
#35 and was an avid curler at the M.C.A. in Moncton. Faye loved her family, gardening and her cottage life at Cape Tormentine.
She will be sadly missed by her husband David M. Smith, two sons James M.
and his wife Nicole Smith of Mississauga, ON; and Jeff M. and his wife Tanya Smith of Calgary AB; grandchildren Justin J. Smith and Meaghan M. Smith, of ON. and Ethan M. Smith and Levi W. Smith of AB; two brothers, Ralph J. LeBlanc (Laverne) of Nackawic and Paul J. LeBlanc (Claire) of Kitchener and by nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by a sister Doreen Nelson.
There is no visitation at the Funeral Home The Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's United Church Cleveland Ave.
Riverview on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Steve Berube officiating. The family will be receiving relatives and friends in the church hall immediately following the service.
Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB. In Lieu of flowers donations in Faye's memory made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
