Obituary of Frank G. Cook
Frank G. Cook, 88, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, September 27, 2007.
Born in Sackville, NB he was the son of the late Ernest and Stella Cook. He is a member and a former sexton of St. John's the Baptist Anglican Church Riverview. Frank was a carpenter and a former employee of the T. Eaton Co.
Frank was a veteran of WW II, he served overseas with the Carleton York Regiment RCA. He was a member of the Riverview Veterans and Armed Forces Association.
A caring and understanding father, poppy, brother and friend, he will be sadly missed by his daughter Janice Stewart (Gary) Crapaud, PEI; his four sons Clark (Karen) of Moncton, Franklin (Sarah), James (Cathy) and Christopher all of Riverview; nine grandchildren Jeanna, Stephanie, Ashley, Justin, Jessica, Keri, Matthew, Nicholas and Virtine, two brothers Arnold (Helen) of Riverview and Cedric (Gerry) of Sackville; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by his wife Lillian Mae Cook in 2002; four sisters Mae, Daisy, Edith and Doris; two brothers Harry and Leon.
Resting at Riverview Funeral Home Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with visitation on Friday, September 28, 2007 from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
The funeral service will be held at St. John The Baptist Anglican Church, Woolridge Dr. Riverview on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Brent Ham officiating.
The Riverview Veterans will be holding a memorial service from the Riverview Funeral Home on Friday evening, September 28th at 6:45 pm.
Interment will be in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery in Crapaud, PEI on Sunday, September 30, 2007 at 3:00pm.
Donations in Frank's memory made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Canadian Celiac Association would be appreciated by his family.
