Obituary of Fred R. Beyer

Fred R. Beyer, of Lower Coverdale, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at the age of 79 years. Born in Hamborn a \ Rhein, Germany on March 9, 1928. Fred moved to Canada in 1953 and worked as operations manager of Wallace Warehouse in Moncton for over thirty years, prior to moving to Fredericton and working as District manager for McCoshams until his retirement. He was Past President and chairman of numerous committees during his many years service with The Riverview Lions Club. Fred will be remembered by all for his quick wit and his story telling. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years Vera Beyer; daughter Kathy and her husband Jim Belliveau of Lower Coverdale; a grandson Kevin, three nephews and his numerous friend. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister and brother. Visitation will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 7:00 - 9:00pm. The Riverview Lions will be holding a Lions prayer service Wednesday evening at 6:45 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at The Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Carol Mullins officiating.Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
