Obituary of Faustina Marie "Pat" Lewis

The death of Faustina Marie "Pat" Lewis occurred Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at the Villa de Providence in Shediac, NB. Born on June 8th, 1913 in Moncton, NB. She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was married on January 24, 1938 to James W. Lewis, who predeceased her in 1978. They lived throughout the Maritimes in Bedford and Brookfield, NS; Hampton and Moncton, NB. She worked at the T. Eaton's Department Store for a number of years. She regularly attended St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Moncton. In later years she resided at the Moncton Kinsmen Center and the Villa de Providence Home in Shediac, NB, where she enjoyed meeting new friends. She is survived by her four children; Glen (Jean) Lewis of Charlottetown, PEI, Brian (Sandra) Lewis of Sydney River, NS; John Lewis of Halifax, NS and Valery Lewis of Moncton. Eight grandchildren Deborah (Tom) Boyce Halifax, NS; Dawn (Stephen) MacIsaac, Stratford, PEI; Bonnie (Stephen) Gray, Howie Center, NS; Steven (Stacey) Lewis, Sydney, NS; Kim (Kevin) Bulman, Moncton, NB; Shawn Lewis, Calgary, Ab; Natalie (Paul) Leblanc, Moncton, NB and Brian Coady Moncton, NB. fourteen great grandchildren; two sister Mary and Helen both of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she is predeceased by one brother and three sisters. Resting at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. Moncton with Private Family viewing from from 3:00pm to 3:30pm and visitation for the public from 3:30pm until the time of the service. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, Moncton on Friday, March 21, 2008 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Rob Salloum officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, NB in the spring. Donations in Faustina's memory made to the Villa Providence Inc.
