Obituary of Fred A. Taylor

Fred Arnold Taylor, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, February 16, 2009 at the age of 90 years. Born in Smithville, Ontario; he was the son of the late William and Laura (Martin) Taylor. Fred was a retired credit supervisor for Co-op Atlantic. He was a charter member of the Riverview Baptist Church and was involved with the senior men’s choir. He was a veteran of WW II and was a dedicated member of the Riverview Veterans and Armed Forces Association. He is survived by his wife Freda Mae (Trites) Taylor, sons Gary (Corena) Taylor of Moncton, Don Taylor of Riverview, Doug (Pam) Taylor of Milford; NS; seven grandchildren Jamie, Kim, Alanna, Allison, Evan, Maggie and Kaitie; six great grandchildren Jack, Carlie, Oliva, Callie, Erik, and Nathaniel; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret and his brother Martin Taylor. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd; Riverview with visitation on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The Riverview Veterans will hold a service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:45pm. The funeral service will be held from The Riverview Baptist Church on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 2:00pm with Rev. Jonathan Gorham officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
