Obituary of Homer Steeves

Homer Steeves 92 of Hillsborough, NB passed away at Fundy Royal Manor, on Thursday, August 22, 2019. He was a son of the late Lewis and Eva (nee Beaumont) Steeves. Homer is survived by 2 daughters, Pat Steeves and Paula Goad; one sister Erma Wilt; a daughter-in-law, Carolee Steeves; three grandsons, Craig (Nicole) Steeves, Michael (Andrea) Henrichs, Shane (Anissa) Steeves; two great grandsons, Jordan Sherwood and Mason Steeves; two granddaughters, Shelley (Paul) Henrichs, Shannon (Jim) Sherwood; five great granddaughters, Jada Steeves, Zoe (Kyle) Jackson, Kolbie (Khiari) Henrichs, Bailey Sherwood and Ava Steeves as well as nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Homer is pre-deceased by; his wife Lois Steeves; a son, Charlie Steeves; two brothers, Roland and Ivan; four sisters, Muriel, Elizabeth "Betty", Dora and Sandra. The family would like to thank all the staff of Fundy Royal Manor for the care and companionship given to Homer over the years. He was also blessed with wonderful friends Doug and Gwen Steeves, he couldn’t wait to tell of his adventures taken with Doug and the wonderful treats from Gwen. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 10:00am until time of service. The Funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Gordon James officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens Donations in Homer's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
