Obituary of Alice Johnston

Alice Johnston, age 88 years of Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home in Moncton, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 17, 2006. Born in Oakville,Ontario on April 25, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lulu (Snure) Johnston. She has been a member of the Riverview Church of Christ for the past 20 years, and was a former member of the Omagh Church of Christ in Oakville,Ontario. She is survived by her brother Walter and his wife Doreen of Beamesville, Ontario; Sister in law Willa Johnston of Milton, Ontario; and by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Alice was predeceased by her brother William Johnston; and sister Jean Wright. At Alice's request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Oakville, Ontario at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations made to the K. E. Spencer Memorial Nursing Home would be appreciated by her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Riverview Funeral Home, (506) 857-9544.
