Obituary of Steve Casey

Steve Casey, 67 , of Moncton, NB; passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Born in St. Stephen, NB he was the son of the late John and Joyce (McHugh) Casey. Steve was a former Sales Manager with Sears Canada. Known for his one liners, quick wit and his calming presents with everyone he met, he truly loved his daughters and family and was passionately called GG by Ariella and Abel. Steve had a passion for NASCAR and local Stock Car Racing, he worked on the Atkinson Racing Team Pit Crew. A fun loving dad, grandfather, GG, brother, nephew and friend, he will be sadly missed by his two daughters, Charlene (Jason) of Moncton and Jennifer (Tony) of Salisbury; his grandson, Nathan; great granddaughter Ariella and great grandson, Abel; sister Stephanie Casey of Bridgewater, NS; and by many aunts, uncles and by numerous cousins. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his brother Andrew. The Family wish to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff especially Emily of Palliative Care at the Moncton Hospital for their love, compassion and care given to Steve. The private family service to celebrate Steve's life will be held at a later date. Donations in Steve's memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
