Peter and I studied together at McGill (1991-1994) and despite being on opposite sides of the world since then we have always been in contact. In Montreal, his apartment, just two blocks from mine, was relaxation central. I visited him several times in New York and had hoped to spend time with him in Moncton. Feeling sad.

I met Peter through my dear friend Margo and he came to a party in Madrid at the place I shared with a girl. We liked each other from the first moment but due to the circumstances in lively Madrid we did not spend too much time together unfortunately. Despite of that, I never forgot Peter though and as he was from New Brunswick, Moncton I was really looking forward to meeting him again in my life when seeing Margo. When I came to Canada to finally reunite with Margo in 2022 after 32 years last June-July I asked about Peter as I wanted to meet him. Unfortunately Margo also did not know then where Peter was at that time as she had lost track. So very sad now that he passed away, I will always remember him dearly. Very sorry for the loss and giving my condolences to the family and all friends that miss him. I hope he somehow Felt that we spoke so much about him last July and that he was truely loved as a friend and missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Peter passing away. Peter and I spent a lot of time in our twenties together in interesting places, like Grenoble, Madrid and Montreal. He was a good and kind friend. I got to experience these new places through his eyes and with a running historical commentary! I had hoped to reconnect with him as the busyness of work life faded. He was one of a kind. I am sorry not to be able to have another cafe au lait and a pastry in a sidewalk cafe with Peter, discussing all the intricacies of life. You were very dear to us, Peter

Heather, Richard and family, please accept my most sincere condolences. Peters wit, intelligence, quirky interests, generosity and worldliness were the stuff that filled near 40 years of friendship. These past two years Peter showed a courage and equanimity to his suffering and loss that even his oldest friends did not know he possessed. Peter was full of surprises, right to the end. His departure comes far too soon and I will miss him dearly.

My dearest Heather and Dick, How saddened I was to hear of Peter passing away. The 22 years that I walked around Jones Lake with your mom were some of the best times of my life. She was so very proud of all of you and mentioned you almost every day of those years. I will miss Shirley and John, but once again, I am hearing about their dear son, Peter, and along with him, about you two, as well. All the cherished memories of your family come flooding back to my mind and heart. I will keep you in my prayers and may God bless you both as you say farewell to your dear brother.

Peter my good friend, I will miss you. I was hoping we would have some time in the golden days to revisit old places (Madrid) and play more guitar. Rest well, my friend. Regards - Kevin

Peter was an extraordinary man, brilliant and funny, and a loyal friend for decades. Great times in Fredericton, Montreal New York and Halifax. He maintained his love for music and books and collecting despite his grave illness. He fought until the end and his stoic courage was inspiring. My deepest condolences to the family. Rest in peace, Peter. Bill Robinson
