Obituary of Gregory "Greg" L. MacMillan

Greg MacMillan, 81, formerly of Churchill St. Moncton passed away at Drew Nursing Home in Sackville, NB on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Born in Barrie On., Greg was the son the late Leo and Louise MacMillan. Greg retired from the Canadian Armed Forces, after having been stationed in Germany and Oromocto. It was following his retirement he and his late wife Janet moved to Moncton and raised their family. Greg was a member of Lakeside Golf Club and a former member of Maplewood Golf Club, Irishtown. He was a avid cribbage player seen often at the Moncton Dart Club and he enjoyed playing Texas Holden with his golf buddies. A loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and a true friend to all that knew him, he will be sadly missed by his two sons, Lee (Krista) and Warren MacMillan; by his grandsons, Ryan (Meagan) and Brandon (Kayla Hermitage); by his great granddaughter, Eden and also by his golfing and card buddies. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife, Janet L. MacMillan in 2015. His family will be receiving relatives and friends at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, on Wednesday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Honouring Greg's wishes there is no funeral service. Donations in Greg's memory made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. .
